Drug Category: Vitamin.
Drug Form: Sterile Injectable Solution.
Composition: Vitamin A 300.000 IU/ml
Vitamin D3 75.000 IU/ml
Vitamin E 50.000 IU/ml.
Mechanism of Actions:
Vitamin A plays an important role in protecting and maintaining all of the body's epithelial cells. The presence of vitamin A is essential for the production and differentiation of mucosal cells. The gastrointestinal tract is completely susceptible to the presence or absence of vitamin A. Vitamin A also plays an important role in the spermatogenesis in male and female pregnancy and also in osteoblastic activity and bone growth.
Vitamin D plays an important role in maintaining the amount of calcium in the blood circulation. Vitamin D and parathormone together act to mobilize Ca and phosphate from bone. This is in contradiction with the main role of vitamin D in bone growth, but this action of vitamin D assures the presence of calcium and phosphate in supersaturated concentrations for osteoporosis. Another role of vitamin D is the absorption of PO4 calcium from the digestive tract and also from renal tubules.
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant. Its main function is to prevent oxidation of fats and increase the biological life of unsaturated fatty acids. This action of vitamin E is in fact equivalent to fixing the cell membrane because unsaturated fatty acids are the main components of the cell membrane. In fact, vitamin E can slow or stop the formation of free radicals and hyperproxides from unsaturated fatty acids.
Pharmacokinetics:
Vitamins A, D and E are fat-soluble vitamins that are rapidly absorbed and transfused through the bloodstream to other tissues in the body. The highest amount of this drug is stored in the liver. The excretion of these vitamins from the body is carried out thoroughly. Gastrointestinal infections reduce the absorption of these vitamins.
Indications:
Prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiencies A, D3 and E, which include: Night blindness, keratinization of cornea, blindness, Anasarca, decreased growth, reproductive system failure, rickets in young livestock, bone softness in adult livestock, infertility of livestock, and shortening of disease regeneration. Vitamin AD3E is used as an appetite stimulant. It is useful as an ingredient in the treatment of viral processes, infertility due to ovarian degenerative disorder, reduced sperm count or deformation and decreased sexual desire.
