 Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) 35 mg/ml

 Dexpantenol (Vitamin B5) 25 mg/ml

 Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 25 µg/ml

Mechanism of Actions:

Vitamin A plays an important role in protecting and maintaining all of the body's epithelial cells. The presence of vitamin A is essential for the production and differentiation of mucosal cells. The gastrointestinal tract is completely susceptible to the presence or absence of vitamin A. Vitamin A also plays an important role in the spermatogenesis in male and female pregnancy and also in osteoblastic activity and bone growth.

Vitamin D plays an important role in maintaining the amount of calcium in the blood circulation. Vitamin D and parathormone together act to mobilize Ca and phosphate from bone.

Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant. Its main function is to prevent oxidation of fats and increase the biological life of unsaturated fatty acids. This action of vitamin E is in fact equivalent to fixing the cell membrane because unsaturated fatty acids are the main components of the cell membrane.

Vitamins B-complex plays an important role in the body. Vitamin B1 converts to anorine pyrophosphate (co-carboxylase) after absorption into the liver. This vitamin acts as a co-enzyme for several enzymatic and carboxylic systems (The most important is decarboxylase). This enzyme is required for pyruvic acid decarboxylation, an intermediate stage of carbohydrate metabolism. Vitamin B2 has a direct effect on carbohydrate, amino acids and aldehyde metabolism. Vitamin B6 is converted to pyridoxal phosphate which functions as a co-enzyme with the transaminases and decarboxylases in the metabolism of proteins and amino acids. Nicotinic acid is metabolized after absorption in the liver. Nicotinamide in the tissues is coupled with purine adenine and phosphoric acid to form two co-enzyme systems that act as nicotinamide as carriers of hydrogen in the process of oxidation and resuscitation of cellular metabolism. Vitamin B12 plays a role in maintaining normal hematopoiesis in the bone marrow and in the formation and maintenance of myelin sheaths of nerve fibers. Generally, cyanocobalamin plays an important role in maintaining all tissues that produce nucleoprotein, protein, and fat conversion.

Pharmacokinetics:

Vitamins B-complex are water-soluble vitamins. After intramuscular injection, these vitamins are easily absorbed and spread rapidly throughout the body. These vitamins are rapidly excreted through the urine out of the body. Vitamins A, D and E are fat-soluble vitamins that are rapidly absorbed and transfused through the bloodstream to other tissues in the body. The highest amount of this drug is stored in the liver. The excretion of these vitamins from the body is carried out thoroughly. Gastrointestinal infections reduce the absorption of these vitamins.

Indications:

To prevention and treatment of the symptoms caused by the deficiency of the above mentioned vitamins, including in cases of abortion in a variety of livestock, anemia, in the recovery of diseases, chronic illness treatment, diarrhea, decreased growth and muscle weakness.

Adverse and common side effects:

Muscular injection of the drug into the horse may in some way cause pain, stimulation and swelling in the injection site, which, after a few days, will resolve these complications. If there is too much vitamins in the diet or parenteral administration, there is a risk of poisoning. Administration of high dose vitamin E in cows may lead to calcium deposition in the kidneys and the walls of the blood vessels.

Dosages and Administration Routs:

Cattle and horse: 20-30 ml.
Calves and Sheep: 5-10 ml.
Lambs: 2-5 ml.

The drug is injected intramuscularly or subcutaneously.

The time and amount of the drug is determined according to the symptoms and veterinarian's diagnosis.
